What We Do
RootMaker® Products Company, LLC was founded in 2000 for discerning growers who wanted to provide their customers with the highest quality plants. The patented technology ensures the grower will produce plants with fibrous non-circling root systems.
Dr. Carl Whitcomb developed and refined three methods of root pruning (air, constriction, trapping) utilizing the design of the container which can increase as much as 30% in growth rate.
Our containers are long lasting plant production tools. RootMaker® injection molded pots last for decades; Propagation trays eight plus years; RootTrapper® fabric pots are usable for many seasons; our inground bags conserve field soil.
We are celebrating our 25th anniversary by introducing RootMaker® Plantable air root pruning fiber containers, RootMaker® 1-gallons using injection molding cellulose resin, and RootMaker® propagation and container fertilizers.
